A journey in Las Vegas

There’s only a place in the world where to go from Venice to Polynesia, from Paris to Egypt through ancient Rome you only have to cross the street. Yes, the 18th and 19th of May I have been in Las Vegas!

It is an unreal and totally fake city in the Nevada desert.  Excesses and vices are the everyday life and the night is hard to stop.

I spent 24 hours trying to experience all the emotions that this city can offer…ops, sell! Don’t worry, I didn’t marry a stranger!

In Las Vegas there are many things that you can enjoy for free but otherwise everything is quite expensive. If you wish to make a bet at the casino make sure you have already booked a return ticket and avoid the “coolers” (players who are unlucky to lose everyone else)!

Io e i miei amici abbiamo alloggiato in una suite dell’ Hotel The Venetian.

E’ impressionante come “cielo” della shop gallery dell’albergo, in cui riecheggiava ” ‘O sole mio” cantato dai gondolieri, sembrasse così reale! Anche grazie agli “eye in the sky” (i sistemi di sorveglianza dei casinò) ci si sente come i protagonisti di un reality show.

It’s amazing how “sky” of the gallery shop of the hotel, which echoed “‘ O sole mio” sung by the gondoliers, it seemed so real! Also thanks to the “eye in the sky” (casino surveillance systems) you feel like the stars of a reality show.

After an afternoon spent sunbathing near the pool is a must take a ride through the streets and hotels of Las Vegas.

Attending an arrest documented by the TV show “Cops” seems a very normal thing in the streets of Vegas.

See men on the street that offer phone numbers of lots of beautiful girls with a list price is even more sad than see gamblers that squander fortunes.

Before going to dance is essential to take a ride to Downtown, where there are still the first casinos, and to take a stroll under the barrel of steel and led of Fremont Street that from the sunset until midnight offer dizziness shows .

There are clubs for every kind of people. We stayed at TAO, and we had the chance (and luck) to hear playing  LMFAO Chuckie. Unexpected and, therefore, gorgeous!

I was astonished by didn’t see  look-alikes of Marilyn Monroe and Elvis Presley on the Strip.

I saw a drunk Mickey Mouse with Donald Duck, Super Mario and Luigi, Zach Galifianakis of “The Hangover” (with baby too) and an unconvincing Hello Kitty, but no Elvis. It will be fulfilled the prediction of the movie “Elvis has left the building” by Joel Wick (2004)? For those who had never see it, it’s a hilarious film that sees Kim Basinger, John Cobert, Tom Hanks and Sean Astin confront an issue that will never fade: what Elvis would think of all his most improbable doubles?
